Letter to the Editor Sent to :
Dear Editor: The affordable housing bill is wrong. It is simply socialism, and spreading the wealth is wrong. Our system was founded on free enterprise so let the system work. Our Forefathers warned of something like this happening. They said that our system of democracy would be in jeopardy when our elected officials found that they could vote themselves large parcels of the public treasury for their agendas. We must stop the spending, and we have to start at the grassroots. The people in Washington are drunk on spending for ridiculous things like a bridge to nowhere! They have wasted our money from the public treasury to the point of collapse. They have "borrowed" money from every place they can think they can get away with it. Vote no for the subsidized housing.
