Dear Editor:
I have just received another email, much along the same lines as the supposed French Prime Ministers statement about immigrants, which I was unable to verify as coming from any reliable source.

This time from a Dutch Government Minister, titled �Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16�,

Again, once you try to find any authenticity to the report you come up with numerous organisations repeating the same story but not a single one that is a reliable source. As you get down the list of sites you start coming across very right wing sites all of which have the same introduction for this statement.

Clearly there is a concerted campaign by extreme racist groups trying to stir up support for their own ambitions. Fortunately, as they copy others, it shows it as being totally spurious.

Having shot themselves well and truly in the foot, it devalues every message of this type that anyone has received in the past and suggests that it is nothing more than unfounded propaganda, zoning in on peoples fears whether genuine or not.
Shades of the Third Reich methinks.
