Dear Editor:
Enoch Powell warned the UK regarding multiculturalism and look at the place now. The greatest tragedy in Australian history was the scrapping of the White Australia Policy, which comprised various historical policies that intentionally restricted "non-white" immigration to Australia from 1901 to 1973. The legal end of the White Australia policy is usually placed in the year 1973, when the Whitlam Labor government implemented a series of amendments preventing the enforcement of racial aspects of the immigration law.
 A lamentable part of our history, where the freedom, truth and religion defended by our soldiers in two World wars; was exchanged for the kowtow and tugging of the forelock, where our Govt's both State and Federal now acquiesce to every type of demand without a whimper of protest.
