Dear Editor:
The concert held last night ( 04 June ) was attended by Thousands and watched by Millions . A truly magnificant performance by some of the "Older Artists"
It was reported that the person /s responsible for selection were despatched to visit the Commonwealth countries and select artists form therein.
However someone in their wisdom forgot or ignored the biggest Commonwealth Country , followed by the Second biggest Commonwealth country. 
India, the biggest has a population of 1.7 Billion, followed by Pakistan with nearly 180 Million.
Great Britian has had a long association with India. 
It is therefore shameful that these two countries were not represented at the concert. Yet Solomon islands with a population of a mere 915, 000 souls presented a song!
Why were these counties ignored?
The Kohinoor Diamond along with other Jewels "brought" back from India can be displayed at the Tower, but no one from the sub-continent was considered worthy enough to be invited.
